7 Bicyclists showed up for Mass - today was also "buy nothing day". The riders decided to visit the Holiday Light show.
Off we go around the square.
And through the John-Nolan Tunnel.
Down John Nolan
... further down John Nolan...
Entering Olin Park
There's the sign at the entrance to the park: "Holiday Fantasy Lights"
For some reason, bicyclists seem to move more quickly than the automobiles...
The Bicycling Snowman was riding his bike again this year...
Through the tunnel of lights...
After leaving the park, we headed to Park St.
One funny thing about some annoyed motorists is that they seem to want to be slowed down by Critical Mass. This car was in back of us for quite a while, and had many opportunities to pass. Finally, this car passed, and the passenger yelled something unintelligible.
Ahh, here comes the next contestant in the "Critical Mass Is Blocking Me" game (note there is room to pass in the next lane). Maybe they think we are getting ready to turn left and they are leaving the lane open?
On my way to CM I noticed a car had run into the Dodge Dealership on East Washington. I snapped this image on my way home. The workers had quickly repaired the facade.
